Latin name: Combretum alfredii Hance. Leaves opposite or nearly opposite, leaf blade oblong to broadly lanceolate, rare for elliptical obovoid or ovoid, apex acuminate, base wedge tip, dilute obtuse, margin entire, glabrous on both sides and a bit rough, little on abaxially hirsute, densely covered with white under a magnifying glass, round, small raised spots, the back has a tan or orange yellow scales. Flowering may - August, fruit beginning in September.
